NFL Notes: Cowboys, Redskins, Titans, Vikings


  • Charean Williams of the Star-Telegram, citing multiple sources, reports that the Cowboys had conversations with the Ravens about a potential trade up for Missouri defensive end Charles Harris.
  • However, trade talks reportedly didn’t get all that far, as the Ravens elected to take Alabama CB Marlon Humphrey with the No. 16 overall pick.
  • Harris ultimately fell to the Dolphins at No. 22 overall.


The Redskins released the list of 37 players trying out for the team during their rookie minicamp. The list includes:

The Titans announced Friday that they’ve signed four of their draft picks to four-year contracts including:

  • OL Corey Levin (sixth-round pick)
  • LB Josh Carraway (seventh-round pick)
  • OT Brad Seaton (seventh-round pick)
  • RB Khalfani Muhammad (seventh-round pick)


Earlier in the week, Nebraska QB Tommy Armstrong mentioned that the Vikings planned to sign him as a safety. However, it appears as though the Vikings’ plans have changed.
