Darren Sharper

Former NFLย S Darren Sharper was charged along with two other men on Friday in a nine-count grand juryย indictment stemming from multiple rape allegations in New Orleans, according to Ken Daley.

Sharper was indicted on two counts of aggravated rapeย and aย simple rape of a different woman. He facesย life in prison without the possibility of parole, probation or suspension of sentence.

Dolphins

  • Jason Cole of Bleacher Report believes Dolphinsย HCย Joe Philbin is likely coaching for his job this weekend as they take on the Patriots.

Eagles

Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer wonders if the Eagles should consider trading up for Oregon QB Marcus Mariota in next year’s draft as HC Chip Kelly has made it clear that he’s very high on his potential.

“He’s a special player, and he’s just got a gift for playing football,” Kelly said on Thursday. “He’s everything you want. He can throw the ball. He can run. He’s the most talented kid I coached in college.
