Free Agents

  • Terez A. Paylor reports that Chiefs free agent C Rodney Hudson is receiving offers that $8 million per year, and the bidding could go even higher.
  • Raiders free agent C Stefen Wisniewski has “several suitors” lined up right now, according to Adam Caplan.

Buccaneers

  • Rand Getlin reports that the Buccaneers signed S Major Wright to a two-year contract that will pay him up to $4.5 million.
  • Getlin adds that the first year of the contract is fully guaranteed.

Dolphins

  • Jason Cole reports that one of the big selling points for Ndamukong Suh signing with the Dolphins was his marketing opportunities in Miami.
  • According to Cole, Suh believe he has a huge opportunity in that regard.
  • Cole adds the relationship between Suh’s agent Jimmy Sexton and Dolphins executive Mike Tannenbaum helped deal in this deal, as they’re both Bill Parcells guys.

Eagles

  • Rand Getlin reports that the Eagles are expected to add two players to their secondary in free agency.
  • Getlin adds that Philadelphia wants to want two cornerbacks, but could still use a safety as well.
  • The Eagles have reportedly made a “strong push” to be in position to sign S Devin McCourty, but they are also considering fallback options, according to Getlin.
  • Philadelphia’s backup options reportedly include Rahim Moore and Ron Parker, per Getlin.

Saints
