- Redskins QB Robert Griffin III surprisingly returned to practice on Sunday after reports that he sustained a concussion a few days ago. (John Keim)
- HC Jay Gruden told reporters that RGIII has”not been totally cleared yet,” but he’s taking “necessary steps” to play in next Saturday’s game against the Ravens. (Tarik El-Bashir)
- According to Gruden, RGIII has been cleared for “non-contact” activity in practice and displayed no effects of a concussion.
Saints
- Ross Jones of FOX Sports reports that Saints WR Nick Toon sustained high-ankle sprain in Saturday’s game and is expected to be out 2-3 weeks
