  • Free agent OT Sebastian Vollmer told Sirius XM NFL Radio Tuesday that he has lost 75 pounds and plans to retire from the NFL. (Mike Reiss)

Rams

  • Though Jason Cole of B/R says that the Rams are “pleased with the progress” of QB Jared Goff this offseason, people within the organization is also “extremely pleased” with backup QB Sean Mannion.
  • According to Cole, the Rams believe Mannion has improved footwork and reads as a quarterback, while a team source “wouldn’t be surprised” if Los Angeles turns to Mannion if Goff struggles during the regular season.

Titans

  • The Titans announced that they’ve signed third-round TE Jonnu Smith to a four-year contract.
  • The Tennessee Titans hired Tom Roth and Mike Boni as area scouts and formally announced that Jon Salge has been promoted to college scouting director and Brandon Taylor to a national scout. (Paul Kuharsky)
