Tom Brady/Antonio Brown

  • According to ESPN’s Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler, Patriots QB Tom Brady has stayed in close contact with WR Antonio Brown and wants Brown to join Brady wherever he plays next. 
  • Brady has been texting Brown to stay physically and mentally strong so he’s potentially ready to join him at his next stop, according to one of Brown’s lawyers. 

Jaguars

  • Per ESPN’s Matthew Berry, a member of the Jaguars’ coaching staff dispelled the notion that Jacksonville had already settled on Gardner Minshew as its starting quarterback and was looking to trade Nick Foles
  • Berry says the team likes both quarterbacks and expects there to be a battle in training camp for the starting job. 
  • Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio says, however, according to a league source, the Jaguars have received some trade interest in Foles, though talks have not been substantive so far. 
  • Jaguars DL Calais Campbell, C Brandon Linder and G Andrew Norwell are reportedly drawing some trade interest. (NFLTR)

Texans

  • According to Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, Texans OT Laremy Tunsil fired his agency, CAA, and is in the process of searching for new representation ahead of extension negotiations this offseason.
