NFL Notes: Victor Cruz, Walter Thurmond, Broncos, Redskins & Titans

Victor Cruz

Giants WR Victor Cruz explained that he agreed to a pay cut this offseason because he’s open to be in New York “for the long haul.

I’m just excited to be here with this team again, and I’m excited to be around this organization,” Cruz said, via “Excited to play for coach Ben McAdoo, who is a tremendous, tremendous coach. I’m excited to play alongside (quarterback) Eli (Manning), (wideout) Odell (Beckham) … I’m just grateful to have this opportunity again, and I’m working very, very hard to make sure I’m out there on the field for the long haul, and not just for the time being.”
