Giants WR Victor Cruz explained that he agreed to a pay cut this offseason because he’s open to be in New York “for the long haul.

I’m just excited to be here with this team again,and I’m excited to be around this organization,” Cruz said, via BleacherReport.com. “Excited to play for coach Ben McAdoo, who is a tremendous, tremendous coach. I’m excited to play alongside (quarterback) Eli (Manning), (wideout) Odell (Beckham) … I’m just grateful to have this opportunity again, and I’m working very, very hard to make sure I’m out there on the field for the long haul, and not just for the time being.”

  • Jeff Legwold of ESPN mentions that in order for the Broncos to trade for 49ers QB Colin Kaepernick, they would have to release multiple players and add even more dead money and/or restructure multiple contracts.

  • Albert Breer reports that the Titans are working out Ohio State DE Joey Bosa, LB Darron Lee, S Vonn Bell, S Tyvis Powell, and DL Adolphus Washington on Wednesday.
