From Bernard Pollard‘s comments on Sports Radio 610 in Houston it doesn’t appear likely that he’ll be back in Houston next season. When asked if he’ll be returning next season, Pollard said that “You don’t want to know that.”
Despite bringing Wade Phillips to rebuild one of the worst defenses in the history of the NFL, the Texans will have an uphill battle and losing Pollard will not matters. We have Pollard listed as the No. 42 best available free agent during the offseason. As of right now the Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, Jacksonville Jaguars and Philadelphia Eagles are all in need of help at the safety position and seem like possible destinations for Pollard.
