NFL Rumors: Cristian Hackenberg, Draft, Cowboys, Jaguars, & Seahawks

Christian Hackenberg

Robert Klemko of spoke with two personnel sources on two separate teams who have shown interest in drafting Penn State QB Christian Hackenberg, who mentioned that he said all the wrong things in interviews when asked to explain his declining sophomore and junior numbers.

According to Klemko, Hackenberg shifted blame to Penn State HC James Franklin for his disappointing performance the past two years.

“Despite the fact that it’s probably true, you don’t want to hear a kid say that,” one evaluator told Klemko.
