NFL Rumors: Tyler Higbee, Draft, Giants & Texans

Tyler Higbee

• According to Zach Greenwell of the Bowling Green Daily News, Western Kentucky TE Tyler Higbee was arrested Sunday morning and charged with  second-degree assault, second-degree evading of police, and alcohol intoxication in a public place.
• It is worth mentioning that Higbee was projected to be a mid-round pick in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Draft

• The 49ers will host Cal QB Jared Goff and NDSU QB Carson Wentz for visits this week. (Matt Barrows)
• Temple WR Robby Anderson is visiting with the Packers. (Tom Silverstein)
• Clemson DE Shaq Lawson announced on Twitter that he is visiting the Bears on Monday.

Giants

• Jordan Raanan of New Jersey Advanced Media does not think the Giants have any interest in re-signing OT Will Beatty, who was released from the team back in February.
• Raanan believes the Giants are still in the mix for free agent CB Jerraud Powers, despite leaving his recent visit with the team without a contract.
• According to Raanan, New York offered Powers a contract that would pay around $2 million annually.

Texans

• Houston DL Melvin Holland and OT Damien Parris worked out for the Texans at their local prospect day on Saturday. (Aaron Wilson)
