NFL Rumors: Mike Glennon, Draft, & Redskins

Mike Glennon

Adam Schein of NFL.com spoke to one GM who said that Buccaneers QB Mike Glennon would be a โ€œperfect fitโ€ for the Jets.

โ€œGlennon is the perfect fit for the Jets,โ€ the GM told Schein. โ€œGood arm. Good fit in [Chan] Gaileyโ€™s offense. Younger and better than [Ryan] Fitzpatrick.โ€

Another GM went as far to say that heโ€™d take Glennon over Dolphins QB Ryan Tannehill right now.

โ€œIf you gave me a choice of Ryan Tannehill or Mike Glennon, give me Mike Glennon,โ€ said the GM. โ€œHeโ€™s smart. He has a great reputation as a worker. Heโ€™s a middle-of-the-pack starter in the NFL.โ€

The GM also added that he believes Glennon is worth a second-round pick.

Schein takes a look at six speculative landing spots for Glennon in a potential trade including: the Rams, Jets, Broncos, Cowboys, 49ers, and Bills.
