• Benjamin Allbright reports that talks between the Jets and QB Ryan Fitzpatrick are “picking back up.”
• However, Allright adds that there’s still a significant gap to be bridged.
• An NFL source tells Allbright: “Jimmy Sexton severely overplayed his hand with Fitzpatrick. Totally misread his market.“

Free Agents

• Matt Maiocco reports that free agent G Ted Larsen is “weighing options” after today’s visit with the Seahawks, per source.
• It’s worth mentioning that Larsen also visited with the 49ers.

Draft

• Albert Breer believes there are teams willing to draft OSU CB Eli Apple over Florida CB Vernon Hargreaves. According to Breer, although Apple won’t be taken ahead of FSU DB Jalen Ramsey, but he could be second defensive selected.
• Tony Pauline reports that OSU WR Michael Thomas met extensively with the Chargers on Friday.
• According to Pauline, OSU DE Joey Bosa will work out or visit with the Titans, Browns, Cowboys and Jaguars.
• OSU OLB Darron Lee reportedly spent a lot of time with the 49ers after his workout on Friday and also met with the Titans.

Chargers

• Chargers WR Dontrelle Inman and OL Kenny Wiggins officially signed exclusive-rights tenders.

Jets
