Trade Candidates

Jason La Canfora reports that the names he continues to hear as the “most realistic” trade candidates include:

  • Michael Giardi of NFL Media reports that the Patriots inquiring about some notable receivers such as Demaryius Thomas and possibly Golden Tate could be due in part to concerns regarding Josh Gordon, who has been disciplined by the team for being late to meetings.
  • Giardi mentions that the Patriots likely feel they need more depth at outside receiver to complement Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman.
  • Ian Rapoport adds that the Patriots are “particularly interested” in Thomas and Tate.
