Packers Looking To Trade WR Trevor Davis

Tom Silverstein reports that the Packers haveĀ been shopping WR/KR Trevor Davis to teams around the league, but there’s currently no word if they’ve come close to trading him.

The Packers have a number of young receivers they would like to keep, so moving Davis in a trade would help them recoup some value and retain their young talent at the position.

Davis, 24, is a former fifth-round pick of the Packers back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2.5 million contract and set to make base salaries of $630,000 and $720,000 over the first two years of the agreement.

He was arrested for misdemeanor criminal threats back in April after joking about bringing explosives onto an airplane.

In 2017, Davis appeared in all 16 games for the Packers and caught five passes for 70 yards. He totaled 707 kick return yards and 289 punt return yards for the Packers.

We’ll provide more information regarding Davis and the Packers as the news is available.
