Packers LT David Bakhtiari Suffers Two Separate Knee Injuries

Tom Silverstein of PackersNews.com reports that Packers LT David Bakhtiari suffered two different injuries to his left knee during Sunday’s loss to the Vikings.

Bakhtiari and the Packers won’t know the severity of the injuries until he undergoes more tests on Monday.

Jason Spriggs replaced Bakhtiari as the team’s left tackle last night and could fill in for him moving forward.

Bakhtiari, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Packers back in 2013. He’s in the third year of his five-year, $53.34 million contract that includes $16 million guaranteed.

Bakhtiari stands to make base salaries of $1 million and $8.5 million over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2018, Bakhtiari has appeared in 11 games for the Packers.
