Packers Re-Sign QB Scott Tolzien To A One-Year, $1.35M Deal

Bill Huber of PackerReport.com reports that the Packers have agreed to a one-year deal worth $1.35 million with QB Scott Tolzien.

After the season, Packers HC Mike McCarthy said Tolzien is “definitely an ascending player,” so it appears as though he’ll enter the 2015 season as their primary backup.

There’s still the question of whether the Packers bring back veteran QB Matt Flynn, who is an unrestricted free agent. However, many seem to think Tolzien offers a higher upside to Flynn due to his strong arm.
