The Packers announced the signing of rookie free agent LB Shaun Lewis on Tuesday.
Lewis, 22, recently participated in the Packers’ rookie orientation camp back in May. He was highly productive player Oklahoma State. During his four years in college, Lewis totaled 250 tackles, 33 tackles for a loss, four sacks, seven forced fumbles, eight interceptions and scored two defensive touchdowns.
He joins a group of linebackers will a lot of competition, so it seems likely that his best-case scenario would be to end up on the team’s practice squad.
