Packers Sign Third-Round Pick TE Richard Rodgers

Rob Demovsky of ESPN.com reports that the Packers have signed third-round pick TE Richard Rodgers to a four-year contract.

Green Bay has successfully locked up their entire 2014 draft class following this signing.

Rodgers’ four-year contract is worth an estimated $2,726,016 and includes a signing bonus of $506,016, according to OverTheCap.com.

Veteran Packer players have said that they have been especially impressed with Rodgers performance in OTAs, which is a great sign for a team that needs to figure out their tight end position.

Rodgers caught 59 passes for 896 yards receiving and two touchdowns during three years at California.
