Packers Trying Out Rookie WR Deontrae Cooper

Rob Demovsky of ESPN reports that the Packers are trying out rookie WR Deontrae Cooper on Wednesday.

Green Bay currently has two roster spots available to work with, so they should be adding a few players in the coming days.

Cooper wound up going undrafted out of Colorado State-Pueblo, but was with the Seahawks for their rookie camp on a tryout basis this spring.

During his college career at CSU-Pueblo, Cooper caught 47 passes for 644 yards receiving (16.5 YPR) to go along with three touchdowns. He also returned kicks and totaled 168 return yards on 10 attempts.
