Packers Waive RB Kapri Bibbs

The Green Bay Packers have waived RB Kapri Bibbs on Friday, according to Field Yates.

Bibbs, 26, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent out of Colorado State back in 2014. He was on and off of the Broncos’ practice squad before returning to Denver on a one-year, exclusive rights deal for the 2016 season.

The 49ers traded Bibbs and a 2017 fifth-round pick to the Broncos in return for a 2018 fourth-round selection, but San Fransisco elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

Bibbs caught on with the Redskins a few months later and was on and off of their active roster before being waived and later claimed by the Packers.

In 2018, Bibbs appeared in 12 games for the Redskins and Packers and rushed for 103 yards on 21 carries (4.9 YPC) to go along with 16 receptions for 115 yards receiving and four total touchdowns.
