The Green Bay Packers announced Tuesday that they’ve signed DL Dean Lowry to a contract extension.
According to Tom Pelissero, Lowry receives a three-year, $20.325 million extension from Green Bay.
Lowry, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Packers back in 2016. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $2.723 million contract and set to make a base salary of $720,000 for the 2019 season.
Lowry would have been an unrestricted free agent in 2020.
In 2018, Lowry appeared in all 16 games for the Packers and recorded 44 tackles, three sacks, a forced fumble, a recovery and three pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 42 interior defender out of 112 qualifying players.
