Panthers Claim LB Kyahva Tezino Off Waivers From Patriots

The Carolina Panthers announced Monday that they’ve claimed rookie LB Kyahva Tezino off of waivers from the Patriots. 

Other roster moves from the Panthers:

• Panthers signed LB Adarius Taylor. (NFLTR)
• Panthers waived DL Austrian Robinson.

Tezino, 22, wound up going undrafted out of San Diego State back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $2.28 million contract with the Patriots.

Unfortunately, New England opted to cut Tezino loose on Sunday as they cut their roster down to 80 players.

During his college career at San Diego State, Tezinorecorded 288 tackles, 14.5 sacks, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and four passes defended over the course of four seasons and 34 games.
