The Carolina Panthers announced Tuesday that they have placed S Dean Marlowe on injured reserve with a hamstring injury.
Marlowe, 24, wound up signing a three-year, $1.575 million contract with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of James Madison back in May of last year. He stands to make base salaries of $525,000 and $615,000 over the next two years.
This season, Marlowe has been active for one game, but has yet to record a single statistic.
