Panthers Sign DB Corn Elder Off Giants’ PS, Add Two

The Carolina Panthers announced Tuesday that they’ve signed DB Corn Elder off of the Giants’ practice squad on Tuesday and added OTs Garrett McGhin and Aaron Monteiro to their taxi squad. 

  • The Panthers also released OT Matt Kaskey from their practice squad.

Here’s the Panthers updated practice squad:

  2. TE Temarrick Hemingway
  3. DT Bijhon Jackson (Injured)
  4. LB Sione Teuhema
  5. RB Elijah Holyfield
  6. C Brad Lundblade
  7. DT Greg Gilmore
  8. DB Andre Chachere
  9. WR Quadree Henderson
  10. OT Garrett McGhin
  11. OT Aaron Monteiro

Elder, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Panthers back in 2017. He spent just over two years in Carolina before he was waived coming out of the preseason a few months ago.

The Giants later signed Elder to their practice squad.

In 2018, Elder appeared in 13 games for the Panthers and recorded three tackles.
