Patriots Designate OL Isaiah Wynn To Return From IR

The New England Patriots officially designated OL Isaiah Wynn as one of their two players to return from injured reserve on Wednesday.

Wynn returned to practice today, which opens a three-week window of time for him to practice with the team before New England will need to add him to their active roster.

The Patriots placed Wynn on injured reserve a few weeks into the regular season with a foot injury.

Wynn, 23, is a former first-round pick of the Patriots back in 2018. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $11,577,192 contract that included a $6,499,776 signing bonus.

The Patriots have a fifth-year option to pick up on Wynn in 2021.

In 2019, Wynn has appeared in two games for the Patriots, starting both at left tackle.
