Aaron Wilson reports that the Patriots are hosting free agent TE Matt LaCosse for a visit on Thursday.
Last night, Mike Klis reported that the Broncos are interested in re-signing LaCosse, but he has three visits lined up with prospective teams between now and Saturday.
LaCosse, 26, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Illinois back in 2015. He was waived during the preseason and later had a brief stint with the Jets before returning to the Giants during the 2015 season.
The Broncos signed LaCosse off of the Giants’ practice squad towards the end of the 2017 season. However, they declined to tender him a restricted offer, making him an unrestricted free agent.
In 2018, Lacosse appeared in 15 games for the Broncos and caught 24 passes for 250 yards receiving and one touchdown.
