Patriots LB Harvey Langi Involved In Car Accident, Injuries Considered Serious But Not Life-Threatening

The New England Patriots released the following statement regarding the car accident involving LB Harvey Langi‘.

Doug Kyed reports that Patriots’ rookie LB Harvey Langi was involved in a car accident last night and his injuries are considered to be serious but not life-threatening.

Langi, 25, signed on with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent out of BYU back in May. He signed a three-year, $1.66 million contract and is set to make a base salary of $465,000 this season.

So far this season, Langi has appeared in one game and recorded one tackle.

During his three-year college career with BYU, Langi recorded 137 total tackles, 11.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, two interceptions, three pass defenses, and one forced fumble.
