Patriots Make Several Roster Moves

The New England Patriots made a series of roster moves on Wednesday. 

The full list includes: 

• Patriots designated OL Justin Herron to return from injured reserve.
• Patriots signed DT Nick Thurman to their practice squad.
• Patriots released WRs Isaiah Zuber and Mason Kinsey from their practice squad.
• Patriots activated TE Jake Burt from the practice squad injured list.

This opens a three-week window of time for the Patriots to activate him from injured reserve and add him to their 53-man roster.

Herron, 24, was selected in the sixth round of this year’s NFL draft by the Patriots. He signed a four-year, $3.5 million contract with New England.

In 2020, Herron has appeared in six games for the Patriots, making two starts for them.
