The New England Patriots made a series of roster moves on Wednesday.
The full list includes:
- Patriots designated OL Justin Herron to return from injured reserve.
- Patriots signed DT Nick Thurman to their practice squad.
- Patriots released WRs Isaiah Zuber and Mason Kinsey from their practice squad.
- Patriots activated TE Jake Burt from the practice squad injured list.

This opens a three-week window of time for the Patriots to activate him from injured reserve and add him to their 53-man roster.
Herron, 24, was selected in the sixth round of this year’s NFL draft by the Patriots. He signed a four-year, $3.5 million contract with New England.
In 2020, Herron has appeared in six games for the Patriots, making two starts for them.
