Patriots, Packers, Raiders, Rams & Texans All Expected To Target QBs

Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network reports that several teams are still expected to target a quarterback at some point in the draft.

According to Rapoport, the Patriots, Packers, Raiders, Rams and Texans among the teams Rapoport believes will take a signal caller in the next two days.

It’s not surprising to hear that teams like Raiders, Texans and Rams are expected to do so, but it will be interesting to see when the Patriots and Packers grab someone.

It would be surprising to see a team like the Packers take someone in round two, but they could obviously be in the market for a better backup option on Saturday.

As things stand right now, Derek Carr, Jimmy Garoppolo, Tom Savage, A.J. McCarron and Zach Mettenberger are still available.

For what’s worth, we have the Texans and Raiders both grabbing quarterbacks in our recently posted second-round Mock Draft.
