Ian Rapoport first reported that the Patriots have re-signed WR Julian Edelman.

Edelman reportedly had interest from the Ravens, Browns, and 49ers, but it appeared as though a return to New England was the most likely scenario.

Last year, Edelman caught 105 receptions for 1,056 yards receiving and six touchdowns. He also did a great job on special teams as well.

Pro Football Focus had Edelman rated as the No. 28 receiver and the No. 10 punt returner  in the league last season.

We had him listed as the No. 35 player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
