Doug Kyed reports that the Patriots have signed LB Calvin Munson and DT Frank Herron to their practice squad on Monday.

The Patriots’ practice squad now consists of:
- DE Trent Harris
- CB Jomal Wiltz
- QB Danny Etling
- C/G James Ferentz
- OT Eric Smith
- TE Stephen Anderson
- WR Riley McCarron (Injured)
- DB David Jones
- LB Calvin Munson
- DT Frank Herron
Munson, 23, originally signed on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of San Diego State back in April of last year. He managed to make the Giants’ 53-man roster but was waived coming out of the preseason a few months ago.
The Giants signed Munson to their practice squad soon after only to release him after a few weeks.
In 2017, Munson appeared in 14 games for the Giants and recorded 60 tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble.
