Patriots Worked Out 3 WRs Including Alan Bonner

Aaron Wilson of the National Football Post reports that the Patriots brought in three receivers for workouts on Wednesday including Austin Willis, Julian Talley and Alan Bonner.

Bonner, 25, is a former sixth round pick of the Texans back in 2013. He was unfortunately among the Texans early roster cuts at the start of the season, but was later signed to their practice squad just a few days later before eventually being promoted to their active roster back in October.

Houston later released him from their practice squad a little over a month ago.

He has yet to be active for an NFL game.

Talley, 26, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Massachusetts back in 2012. Since entering the league, Talley has been on an off of the Giants practice.

In 2014, Talley was active for two games, but didn’t record a single statistic.
