Raiders Injuries Adding Up

The Oakland Raiders have been dealt of list of injuries to some of their best offensive players. Jason Campbell, Michael Bush, and Chaz Shilens are all dealing with injuries that could keep them out for part of the season.

Jason Campbell suffered a stinger as well as wrist injury that required x-rays and an MRI on Monday. There is no doubt that he will be held out of the final preseason game and depending on the severity of the wrist injury, he could be out for the start of the season. It looks like the team will turn to either Bruce Gradkowski or Kyle Boller to fill in for Campbell while he recovers but it seems like Gradkowski has the best chance since he played pretty well for the Raiders at the end of last season.

Chaz Shilens will be out for 2 – 5 weeks after undergoing knee surgery this last week and Michael Bush will undergo surgery on his thumb but is listed as probable for the start of the season.
