Raiders Met With DT Clinton McDonald Friday

According to Howard Balzer, the Oakland Raiders brought free agent DT Clinton McDonald for a visit on Friday.

This is the first reported interest in him since the free agent market officially opened.

McDonald, 31, is a former seventh-round pick of the Bengals back in 2009. He lasted just a few years in Cincinnati before catching on with the Seahawks for the 2011 season.

After three years in Seattle, the Buccaneers signed him to a contract and he’s spent the past four years in Tampa Bay.

McDonald is testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2017, McDonald appeared in 14 games for the Buccaneers and recorded 29 tackles, five sacks and a pass defense. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 111 interior defender out of 122 qualifying players.
