The Las Vegas Raiders officially placed DB Erik Harris on the COVID-19 list Monday.
Harris is the third defensive back to be placed on the COVID-19 list in the past week by the Raiders.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Harris, 30, originally signed on with the Saints back in 2016. He spent over a year in New Orleans before he was waived at the start of the 2017 season and later signed by the Raiders.
The Raiders brought Harris back on an exclusive rights contract before signing him to a two-year contract worth up to $6.5 million last year. He’ll be an unrestricted free agent in 2021.
In 2020, Harris has appeared in 14 games for the Raiders and recorded 60 tackles, no interceptions, a forced fumble and five passes defended.
