Raiders RT Vadal Alexander Suspended Four Games For PED Violation

The NFL announced Tuesday that Raiders RT Vadal Alexander suspended first four games of 2018 season without pay for violating the NFL’s performance-enhancing substances policy.

Alexander will be eligible to return to the Raiders on October 1, but he can participate in training camp and the preseason.

Alexander, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Raiders back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2.41 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $630,000 and $720,000 over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2017, Alexander was active for 15 games and placed a total of 256 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
