Matt Schneidman reports that the Raiders signing former Vikings K Daniel Carlson to a contract on Tuesday and waiving K Matt McCrane.

Carlson, 23, was selected in the fifth round of this year’s draft by the Vikings. He’s currently in the first year of his four-year, $2,708,012 contract when the Vikings waived him last month.

In 2018, Carlson has appeared in two games and converted one of four field goal attempts all six of his extra point tries.

McCrane, 24, wound up signing on with the Cardinals as an undrafted free agent out of Kansas State back in May. He signed a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Cardinals and was set to make a base salary of $485,000 for the 2018 season when he was waived coming out of the preseason.

The Raiders signed him to a contract a few weeks ago.

In 2018, McCrane has appeared in three games for the Raiders and coverted 5 of 9 field goal attempts (55.6 percent) to go along with all five extra point tries.
