Antonio Brown Considered Day-To-Day After Visiting Foot Specialist

Update:

Ian Rapoport reports that Raiders WR Antonio Brown is considered day-to-day after seeing a foot specialist on Saturday.

Vic Tafur of The Athletic reports that Raiders WR Antonio Brown will visit with a foot specialist on Saturday.

According to Adam Schefter, Brown’s injury is not considered to be a long-term issue.

Brown recently posted a photo showing some serious blisters on his feet.

The Raiders placed him on the non-football injury list, which has prevented him from practicing with the team.

Raiders HC Jon Gruden admitted that there’s been some disappointment with WR Brown’s inability to practice.

“I think we’re all disappointed,” Gruden said, per Lindsay Jones. “We want to get the party started.”

Brown, 31, is a former sixth-round pick of the Steelers back in 2010. He was in the third year of his five-year, $72.71 million contract when the Steelers traded him to the Raiders back in March.

The Raiders later signed Brown to a new contract worth $50.125 million and includes $30.125 million guaranteed.

In 2018, Brown appeared in 15 games for the Steelers and caught 104 passes for 1,297 yards and 15 touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 26 receiver out of 117 qualifying players.
