Rams, Cardinals, Packers, Colts, Jets & Redskins Attend Supplemental Prospect Rashaun Simonise’s Workout

According to NFL Draft Diamonds, six NFL teams were in attendance for Supplemental Draft Prospect WR Rashaun Simonise’s recent workout.

  • These teams reportedly include: the Rams, Cardinals, Packers, Colts, Jets, and Redskins.
  • A few days ago, Simonise said that the Bengals were among the teams that had shown interest in him.
  • According to University of Calgary, 13 NFL teams had confirmed that representatives would be in Calgary for his workout and over 20 have expressed interest.

Simonise offers plenty of size at 6’5, which is something he believes could help in the NFL.

“I want to show that I’m a big guy, and that I can do well for my size,” Simonise said, via LockerRoomUpdate.com. “You know, that’s a big question that scouts are looking at. They know that I’m a fast guy, but they just want to know how fast I am.”

Jason Cole of B/R reported a few weeks ago that of the six eligible players for this year’s Supplemental Draft, Purdue DT Ra’Zahn Howard is likely the only player in position to be drafted, somewhere between rounds 5-7.

The other eligible players in this year’s Supplement Draft include: Ole Miss CB Tee Shepard, Virginia Tech LS Eddie D’Antuono, Sam Houston State RB Jalen Overstreet and Concordia DE Cameron Walton.

In 2015, Simonise recorded 1,079 receiving yards on 51 catches for the University of Calgary.
