Rams Promote DB Isaiah Johnson To Active Roster

The Los Angeles Rams officially promoted DB Isaiah Johnson to their active roster.

Johnson will take the roster spot of S Cody Davis, who was placed on injured reserve (NFLTR).

Johnson, 25, originally signed on with the Lions as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia Tech back in 2015. He was waived coming out of the preseason before signing on to the Lions’ practice squad.

The Rams later signed him to their taxi squad at the start of the 2016 season after Detroit once again cut him loose. Since he’s been on and off of the team’s active roster.

In 2016, Johnson appeared in three games and recorded one tackle.
