Deayon, 25, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Boise State back in 2016. He was waived coming out of the preseason during his rookie year and later signed to the team’s practice squad.
New York brought Deayon back on a futures contract the following year, but he was once again added to their taxi squad after being cut at the start of the season. The Giants eventually promoted him to their active roster during the 2017 season and he managed to make the 53-man roster in 2018.
The Giants waived Deayon late in the season and he caught on with the Rams practice squad. He re-signed in Los Angeles on a futures deal in 2019 and was brought back to the practice squad after being waived again coming out of the preseason.
In 2018, Deayon has appeared in four games for the Giants and recorded six tackles, a fumble recovery and two pass defenses.
