Rams Sign TE Tyler Higbee To Four-Year, $31M Extension

According to Adam Schefter, the Rams and TE Tyler Higbee have agreed to a four-year extension. 

Per NFL Media’s Ian Rapoport, the deal has a base value of $31.025 million that can reach $36 million in incentives. Higbee receives a guaranteed $15.5 million. 

Higbee, 26, was drafted by the Rams in the fourth round out of Western Kentucky in 2016. He signed a four-year $2.92 million rookie contract, including a $580,860 signing bonus.

In 2018, Higbee appeared in all 16 games for the Rams, catching 24 passes for 292 yards and two touchdowns. Pro Football Focus rated Higbee as the No. 19 tight end out of 70 qualifying players.
