Rape Case Against Broncos DL Adam Gotsis Dropped

Fulton County District Attorney Paul Howard Jr announced Wednesday that the case against Broncos DL Adam Gotsis has been dropped, per Nicki Jhabvala.

“After a careful and thorough investigation, The Fulton County District Attorney’s Office has decided not to proceed with the case against Mr. Adam Gotsis. My office understands the sensitivity and significance of these investigations, but the evidence presented does not warrant any further action in this case.

Back in March, Gotsis was arrested for allegedly raping a woman back in 2013 while he was still in college at Georgia Tech.

Gotsis surrendered to police back on March 7 in Atlanta and charged with strong-arm rape. He was later released on $50,000 bond.

Gotsis, 25, is a former second-round pick of the Broncos back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $3.9 million contract and set to make base salaries of $807,991 and $986,987 over the final two years of the agreement.

In 2017, Gotsis appeared in all 16 games for the Broncos and recorded 41 tackles, two sacks, a fumble recovery and four pass defenses.
