Ravens Decline WR Breshad Perriman’s Fifth-Year Option

According to Mike Garafolo, the Ravens have declined WR Breshad Perriman‘s fifth-year option for the 2019 season.

It’s worth mentioning that the fifth-year option is only guaranteed for injury and won’t prevent the two parties from working on a long-term extension in the next year or so.

Perriman, 24, is a former first-round pick out of Central Florida by the Ravens in the 2015 NFL Draft. He is entering the final year of his four-year, $ rookie contract and is set to earn a base salary of $ million for 2018.

He missed his entire rookie season in 2015 due to a PCL injury. Perriman also missed time last year due to a concussion and was a healthy scratch for several games near the end of the season.

In 2017, Perriman appeared in 11 games for the Ravens and recorded 10 receptions for 77 yards receiving and no touchdowns. Pro Football Focus graded him as the last overall receiver out of 116 players.
