Ravens Sign First-Round OT Ronnie Stanley To A Four-Year Deal

The Baltimore Ravens announced Friday that they’ve have agreed to terms with first-round OT Ronnie Stanley, per Jeff Zrebiec.

Stanley, 22, was taken with the No. 6ย overall pickย by the Ravens. There was talk that Stanley could end up going ahead of Laremy Tunsil,ย so it wasn’t a complete surprise to see them pass on Tunsil for Stanley. The Ravens could really use a long-term option at left tackle, so it will be interesting to see how fast Stanley is ready to step in and handle the job.

According toย OverTheCap.com, Stanley receives aย four-year contract worth $20,484,328ย to go along with a signing bonus of $13,097,692. The contract will include a fifth-year option for the team to consider in 2019.

During his four-year career at Notre Dame, Stanleyย made 39 starts for the Fighting Irish at tackle and earned second-team All-America honors during hisย senior season.
