The Baltimore Ravens announced that they’veย have reached an agreement with Pย Sam Koch on a new five-year contract extension Thursday.
- Aaron Wilson of the Baltimore Sun reports that the deal is a five-year,ย $18.5 million extension.
- Wilson adds that Koch’s new contract includes aย $4 million signing bonus, $16.25 million in new money andย $7.3 million guaranteed.

Koch, 32, was entering the final year of his five-year, $12.5 million contract was set to make a base salary of $2.5 million for the 2015 season.
The Ravens used aย sixth-round pick on Koch back in 2006 and he has played his entire nine-year career in Baltimore.
In 2014, Koch led the NFL in net punting at 43.3 per attempt and had 26 punts downed inside the 20-yard line. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 16 punterย out of 37 qualifying playerย last year.
