Ravens Working On Long-Term Contract For CB’s Lardarius Webb & Cary Williams

Ravens GM Ozzie Newsome mentioned that they’re currently in discussions with CBs Lardarius Webb and Cary Williams regarding long-term contracts for both players.

Webb has quickly become a standout player at cornerback for them and is currently a restricted free agent. Baltimore placed a first-round tender on him so he’ll almost certainly be back with them next season, even if a long-term agreement is not reached. Webb has incredible coverage skills and also plays the run pretty well. This would definitely be a great move for the Ravens.

As for Williams, he would most likely be a stop-gap until last year’s first-round pick Jimmy Smith was ready to take over for them.
