Redskins Officially Sign S Ryan Clark

Chris Russell of ESPN 980, citing multiple NFL sources, reports that the Washington Redskins have agreed to terms with former Steelers S Ryan Clark.

  • Jason La Canfora reports that Clark will receive a one-year contract and is expected to start immediately for Washington.

Clark visited with the Redskins weeks ago, however, he would end up meeting with the Seahawks as well. He also drew interest from the Panthers and Ravens.

Clark, 34, has only missed one game in the past three years and totaled 104 tackles, two interceptions and a fumble recovery for the Steelers in 2013.

Pro Football Focus rated him as the No. 45 safety in league last year.
