Redskins Reportedly Have Shown Interest In CBs Captain Munnerlyn & Corey Graham

Earlier in the day, Mike Jones of The Washington Post reported that the Redskins have “expressed interest” in free agent S Jairus Byrd.

Jones also outlines the corners that Washington has also shown interest in on the free agent market.

Munnerlyn, 25, is coming off of a great season in which he produced 73 tackles, 3 sacks, 2 interceptions — both of which were returned for touchdowns — a forced fumble and a fumble recovery. He was rated as the No. 11 cornerback in the league, according to Pro Football Focus.

Graham, 28, has had some success in recent as a nickel corner, especially after joining the Ravens back in 2012. Graham has totaled six interceptions in two seasons with Baltimore.

It seems as though the Redskins are looking for more consistent and younger corners to add to the team moving forward.

We have Munnerlyn and Graham featured in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
