Redskins Reportedly Targeting QB Dwayne Haskins

Dianna Russini reports that the Redskins are in the market for a quarterback and sources have told her that Ohio State’s Dwayne Haskins is their target.

Yesterday, a report mentioned that the Redskins have had some early talks with the Jets about the No. 3 overall pick, so it appears as though they’re a candidate to trade up in round one.

The Lions are also looking to move back and are sitting at No. 8 overall, which could prove to be a better fit for them if they’re looking to come away with Haskins and he gets past the Giants at No. 6 overall.

Haskins, 21, is considered to be one of the top quarterback prospects in this year’s draft class and could end up being a top-10 pick when all is said and done.

Lance Zierlein compares Haskins to Drew Bledsoe.

During his college career, Haskins threw for 5,145 yards while completing 70.2 percent of his passes to go along with 51 touchdowns and nine interceptions over the course of two seasons and 21 games. He also rushed for 208 yards and four touchdowns.
